Job: Heavy Assembler Location: Dixon Specialty Products Job Type: Full-Time Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, $18-$20/hour Dixon Specialty Products is looking for a Heavy Assembler to join our crew of skilled professionals who build and test industrial equipment that powers industries worldwide. At this location, you will be insulating, armoring, and testing small to large bore hoses. If you have welding experience, that’s a strong plus! What You’ll Do Insulate, armor and test small and large bore hoses Assemble heavy machinery components according to specifications and blueprints Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete assembly tasks Perform quality checks on completed assemblies to ensure functionality and safety Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve assembly challenges Document assembly processes and report discrepancies or concerns to supervisors Prepare and package parts for shipment according to company standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety protocols and procedures Perform other duties as assigned What You Bring Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent At least 2 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing of heavy equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics Proficient with hand and power tools Able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately Preferred Technical certification in a related field Welding experience is a strong plus - Entry level Mig & Tig welding Exposure to sandblasting, grinding wheels, paint booths Why You’ll Love Working Here Hands-on training and development from Day 1 Access to our state-certified Apprenticeship Program Competitive pay + shift differential Full benefits: medical, dental, vision for you and your family 401(k) with company match, performance bonuses, and more Tuition reimbursement and internal promotion opportunities Paid holidays, vacation time, and PTO Gym reimbursements and wellness support The Dixon Group is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices and laws.
