2nd Shift Assembler – Now Hiring

Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:30 PM–2:15 AM (Mon–Thu)

Training: Conducted on an earlier shift

Environment: Sheet metal fabrication & assembly, moderate noise

Safety Gear: Steel‑toed shoes & pants required

About the Role

As a 2nd Shift Assembler , you’ll build high‑quality electro‑mechanical products using a variety of tools, equipment, and technical documentation. You’ll work in a fast‑paced environment, moving between functions to support production flow while assembling, wiring, and testing components using sheet metal prints , electrical schematics , and test procedures .

️ What You’ll Do

• Assemble components using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and electrical/electronic tools

• Make wiring connections and perform functional testing

• Move between departments to support production efficiency

• Read blueprints & wiring schematics to guide assembly

• Follow job tickets, manuals, or verbal instructions

• Use inspection tools to verify quality

• Document work and follow best practices

Essential Skills

• 1+ year mechanical assembly experience with hand and power tools

• Ability to read and write in English

• Basic computer skills for verifying and sorting jobs

➕ Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with electrical schematics and inspection processes

• Experience with department‑specific setups

• Strong communication skills (read, write, speak, listen)

• Detail‑oriented with the ability to deploy and document best practices

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
