Clinical Teacher (Registered Nurse)

Clinical Teacher (Registered Nurse) Location: FLTCC Salary: $24.72 - $35.29 per hour based on experience and demonstrated abilities. Start Date: September 01, 2026 Responsibilities Work with a diverse population of students. Provide students with a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to teaching and learning. Collaborate with colleagues and provide resources to meet student learning needs. Record and report student progress. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of professional nursing techniques and their relation to medical surgical practices. Supervise the administration of nursing measures prescribed. Qualifications Hold current NYS Registered Nurse License. Bachelor’s degree. Demonstrate five (5) or more years’ experience as a Registered Nurse. Hold or demonstrate ability to hold NYSED Adult Education Certification. Preferred Qualifications BSN degree. Teaching experience. Three (3) or more years of medical surgical nursing experience. Two (2) or more years of caring for the elderly and/or chronically ill. Knowledge of curriculum content and accepted methods of instruction. Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Promoting equity and culturally responsive practices to create inclusive environments.
