Game Narrative Designer

Responsibilities

• Set and write the Portrayed Game World according to the game producers' requirements.
• Set the game plot in accordance with the game's portrayed world.
• Refining elements within the portrayed world to set the needs and materials for the art production of scenes and in-game characters.
• Portray the various systems based on the portrayed world to ensure the immersive feeling of players in the game.
• Conduct targeted culture research according to the demand of product development.
• Write game publicity articles and product announcements in accordance to the demand and needs provided by product's promotion plan & market strategy.

Qualifications

• Have formal professional experience in game narrative writing;
• Extensive understanding of American pop culture;
• Rich imagination, strong story-telling ability, good knowledge of traditional culture and sensitivity to popular culture;
• Proficient in writing romance and drama genres;
• Lots of experience with popular games, and a passion for games;
• Diligent and dedicated, with good communication skills and cooperation spirit; xhyhwjd
• Have strong literary ability;
• Experience working with international teams in different time zones.

Additional Information

• Remote role cooperating with team based in Shanghai;
• Working hours: 4-5 hours per day (ideally at least 2 in the evening)
• Working days: 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday);
• Salary: $20-38/hour
