Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT MR certification for an outpatient imaging role using GE MRI equipment.

Job Details

• Outpatient imaging setting serving adult and pediatric patients,
• Day shift 5x8.5 hours (6:30 AM-1:30 PM) or evening shift 5x8.5 hours (3:00 PM-10:00 PM),
• 13-week contract assignment,
• Epic EMR experience required,
• GE MRI equipment and PACS system used,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required,
• ARRT MR and ARRT R certification required,
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC),
• CA Venipuncture certification required,
• License required if applicable,
• Proficiency in abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal MRI imaging,
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration,
• Experience starting peripheral IVs,
• Experience with MRA and MRV studies including abdominal and head imaging,
• Experience with special imaging procedures including diffusion imaging, gradient echo, and image post-processing techniques,
• Cardiovascular MR Angio Lower Extremity with Bilateral Runoff experience preferred,
• Isolation precautions and PPE knowledge required,

Additional Information

• Perform MRI imaging across abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal systems,
• Conduct specialized MR angiography and venography studies,
• Work with adult and pediatric outpatient populations,
• Local candidates accepted at local rate,
• 50-mile radius rule applies for travel rate eligibility,
• Returning employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler,
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract,
• Only 1 holiday may be requested off per contract,
• Holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
