Travel RN - Telemetry

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift hospital position requiring 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Hospital setting within the Telemetry unit,
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM,
• 18-week assignment providing winter coverage, with 13-week terms also considered,
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday,

Job Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of consideration,
• Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent MS/Telemetry experience required,
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required,
• NIHSS certification preferred,
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the specialty required (co-worker references not accepted),
• Reference must be from an assignment worked within the past 12 months,
• Must complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with an acceptable score (maximum of 2 attempts),
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, medical/religious exemptions only,

Additional Information

• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate,
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date,
• Extensions available for up to 18 months, after which a 6-month break is required unless deferred by the client,
• Background check hits of any kind will be reviewed, but candidates with an open case will not be accepted,
• No professional license hits accepted,
• Nurses are temporarily exempt from the facility's nicotine-free policy
