Associate Accountant (Fixed Assets)The Associate Accountant (Fixed Assets) position is responsible for reviewing and categorizing Fixed Assets in the Business Assets system based on established criteria and guidelines, ensuring the costs incurred to acquire assets are properly classified within the financial statements. This position works with other Fixed Assets associates to ensure Fixed Assets are properly updated and accounted for.Job Responsibilities:Ensures assets are properly categorized in the Business Assets system based on established criteria and guidelines. Monitors the capital expenditure process to ensure it is properly implemented.Reviews invoices for capitalization or expense within Workday.Responds to inquiries from the Facilities team and general managers regarding capitalization, repairs, and maintenance. Provides support for P&L inquiries as needed.Records changes of assets' status, including disposal, transfer, and adjustments.
