We're looking for a Barista/Bar Back at our Minden Drive-Thru location. We have a passport for progression within our growing company.

PAY

• Base pay: $12.50 per hour, plus tips

• Expected total range: $16.00-$22.25 per hour

• Tips are never guaranteed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet each guest warmly and genuinely

• Look for opportunities to serve and make our guests' day

• Operate the register and handle cash

• Bus, clean, and restock the bar to keep the cafe organized and clean

• Keep work areas clean and presentable to guests

• Follow the OWCR handbook and operational procedures

• Complete all opening and closing responsibilities to OWCR expectations

• Memorize and embody the OWCR mission, vision, and guiding principles

• Work independently as a barista

• Prepare drinks for customers

• Ensure all products served meet OWCR standards

• Complete OWCR barista skills training

Weekend availability is required. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged.

• Outgoing and engaging personality

• Proactive at identifying and completing work needs

• Ability to assess station needs and act accordingly

• Great spoken and written communication

• Must be able to lift 30 lbs

About

Old World Coffee Lab is a specialty coffee roaster with cafes in Reno and Carson City, Nevada. We are dedicated to the pursuit of quality in all things coffee. This means we make sure to source high quality coffees that are grown and processed in ways that ensure quality. At our roastery we seek to roast coffees in a way that respects and highlights work put into them during growing and processing. Our shop is the final step. Here we get to display all that quality and hard work across many different brew methods and beverages. This can be anything from a precision, hand-brewed coffee to using the coffee as a primary ingredient in one of our specialty drinks.
