Position Assistant Store Manager – Retail Stores, Ontario, United States of America Responsibilities Provide consistently high standards of customer experience within the Store in accordance with PUMA’s Brand Values and service standards. Ensure the Store consistently achieves or exceeds sales, KPIs and profitability goals through the effective use of short‑ and long‑term planning, expense control, sales and service. Assist the Store Manager with the recruitment, training, development and succession of high‑performing, results‑driven employees, aiding in holding the team accountable through productivity conversations, coaching, recognition and performance reviews. Control payroll and service‑driven scheduling to maintain a highly profitable location while providing the highest levels of service to customers. Act as Store Manager when the Store Manager is away from the store for any reason. Ensure completion and effectiveness of training programs. Manage and monitor Loss Prevention education and awareness programs. Comply with all Policies & Procedures, operational core competencies and key accountabilities. Maintain a safe, healthy and compliant working and shopping environment. Attend off‑site training and position‑related meetings as required; travel may be required. Work non‑traditional hours, including weekends, evenings, holidays; overtime may be required. Qualifications 2 – 4 years’ management experience in a focused, customer service‑oriented retail environment (preferably apparel/footwear). Proven ability to exceed sales goals and reason through complex issues. Strong team player. Excellent communication skills, ability to present information to large groups. Ability to learn quickly. Computer skills, basic knowledge of MS Office programs and retail software. Ability to constantly walk and move about; use of speaking, hearing, near and far acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Ability to lift/carry, push/pull up to 30 pounds regularly. Compensation The base pay for this position is $26.90 - $29.90 + Bonus + Benefits. Pay may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
