Social Media Coordinator

Support the execution of social media strategies across Breakaway, Breakaway Studios, and additional Breakaway sub-brands Maintain and manage social media content calendars and publishing schedules Schedule, publish, and optimize content across social platforms Assist with planning, creation, editing, and publishing of social-first content, including short-form video, photography, graphics, and promotional assets Support promotion of original content, long-form storytelling, talent collaborations, and branded campaigns Write engaging, on-brand social copy Travel to festivals and events as needed to capture and publish real-time social content Monitor online conversations, respond to audience interactions, and foster community engagement Contribute creative ideas and support campaigns from concept through publication Monitor social media performance and community sentiment and develop weekly reports with insights and recommendations Manage content projects, campaign deliverables, and production timelines Support promotional initiatives, giveaways, content launches, events, and key brand moments Collaborate with internal teams, creators, partners, and external stakeholders Perform additional duties supporting Breakaway Studios and Breakaway Requirements Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, media, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience Experience creating and editing short-form video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts Strong understanding of social media platforms, emerging trends, internet culture, creator trends, digital platforms, and digital storytelling Basic photography and videography skills using a mobile device Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro Experience with Sprout Social or Dash Hudson is a plus Strong copywriting, communication, organization, and time-management skills Ability to execute established brand and social media strategies creatively Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities Comfortable working in live-event environments, including weekends and holidays, and traveling to festivals or events Genuine passion for music, entertainment, live events, and culturally relevant storytelling Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in social media strategy execution, content creation, and community engagement, with a strong focus on digital storytelling and performance analysis.
