Pay Rate: $54/hr - $58/hr

Shift: Varied Day/Evening Shift

Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts; Monday/Tuesday 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM and Thursday/Friday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience: Minimum 1 year ultrasound experience required


About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for an urgent diagnostic imaging opportunity in Gardner, Massachusetts. This role is ideal for a skilled sonographer who can perform high-quality ultrasound exams, support accurate physician diagnosis, and provide compassionate patient care in a hospital setting.


Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound exams, including abdomen, OB, breast, and small parts
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and position patients properly for imaging
• Select appropriate transducers, technical factors, and equipment settings
• Capture high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
• Review physician orders and ensure the correct exam is completed
• Enter patient information, orders, charges, and documentation in Meditech
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, privacy, and fall-prevention standards
• Support rotating on-call weekends and holiday coverage as needed

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology or Radiology Technology program required
• ARDMS registration required
• ARDMS AB, BR, and OB preferred/required per facility needs
• BLS/BCLS required
• Minimum 1 year ultrasound experience required
• Strong technical, communication, organization, and patient care skills required
• Must be flexible, dependable, and able to work independently
