About the Position

Our Farmers Insurance agency is growing, and we are looking for motivated, outgoing telemarketers to join our team in our new Burnsville office.

In this position, you will make outbound calls, speak with prospective customers, create interest in receiving an insurance quote, and connect interested prospects directly with our licensed sales team through live transfers.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident on the phone, motivated by performance-based earnings, and interested in building a career in sales or insurance. No previous insurance experience or insurance license is required—we will provide training.

Compensation and Advancement

Starting pay of $15–$20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Additional incentives for creating qualified live transfers for our sales team

Potential career path into a licensed insurance sales position

After several months of strong performance, we may pay for your insurance licensing and help you transition into a sales role if you are interested

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Make outbound calls to prospective insurance customers

Start conversations and identify people who may benefit from an insurance quote

Create qualified live transfers for our licensed sales producers

Communicate in a friendly, confident, and professional manner

Follow provided call scripts while learning to make conversations sound natural

Accurately enter notes and update prospect information

Use Discord, our calling system, and other agency technology

Meet individual and team activity and transfer goals

Follow agency procedures and all applicable calling and communication requirements

Participate in coaching, training, and team meetings

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

Is at least 16 years old

Is driven to help people and earn money

Is comfortable speaking with many different people over the phone

Can handle rejection, remain positive, and confidently move on to the next call

Is competitive, goal-oriented, and motivated by incentives

Has strong communication and listening skills

Is dependable, coachable, and willing to improve

Is comfortable using technology and learning new systems

Can work independently while contributing to a team environment

Is interested in potential advancement into insurance sales

Requirements

Qualifications

No insurance license required

No previous insurance experience required

Previous experience in telemarketing, customer service, appointment setting, fundraising, retail, or sales is helpful but not required

Basic computer and technology skills

Ability to learn Discord, our dialer, and additional agency systems

Reliable transportation to our Burnsville office
