Job Title: Chaplaincy/Pastoral Counseling Program Administrator Reports To: Chaplaincy/PC Track Lead Location: Essential, On Campus Pay: $18.08 – $21.92/ hour About Denver Seminary Denver Seminary is a multidenominational graduate school committed to preparing men and women to engage the needs of the world with the redemptive power of the gospel and the life-changing truth of Scripture. This is a part-time position. General Statement of Duties The Chaplaincy/Pastoral Counseling Program Administrator plays a critical role in advancing Denver Seminary’s mission and vision and will be responsible for the implementation of administrative systems on behalf of the Chaplaincy/Pastoral Counseling programs, seeking continually to improve the efficiency, support, and development of those systems. This position will work in collaboration with the Director of Institutional Research and Educational Systems to coordinate program goals, strategies, policies, and procedures with those across the institution and use program assessment data for the fulfilment of program goals and continual program improvement. Essential Functions Exercise a continuous improvement mindset to evaluate and improve business processes within the Chaplaincy/PC programs and in coordination with the processes of the offices of Academic Affairs, Student Success, and the broader Seminary environment. Coordinate with the Academic Affairs office to manage adjunct faculty and with division co-chairs to schedule adjunct faculty evaluations. Work with the Academic Affairs office to track comprehensive exams and oversee additional program-specific elements. Student tracking and guidance through the internship planning, application, and placement process. Departmental communication with students, including updates to the academic catalog and website. Support for adjunct instructors, including scheduling, syllabi compliance, and LMS assistance. Miscellaneous administrative support as needed for the program, faculty and other duties as assigned. Secondary Functions Serve as staff at various Seminary functions/events as needed. Education/Experience Commitment to discern and maintain strict confidentiality when necessary. Advanced skills in MS Office 365 are preferred especially in Excel, Power Automate, MS Forms, and SharePoint. Experience with Google Workspace, especially Google Forms preferred. Strong writing skills, proofreading abilities (spelling, style, and grammar) are preferred. Requirements A committed personal relationship with Jesus Christ is required, and a lifestyle consistent with the Seminary’s Community Values and Behavioral Commitments. Agreement with Denver Seminary’s full Statement of Faith and Statement on Human Sexuality. Strong organizational skills for multi-tasking, prioritizing responsibilities, and problem-solving. Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form needed. The position of Chaplaincy/Pastoral Counseling Program Administrator contributes to the mission by producing: Collaborative and innovative creation of necessary administrative workflows. Ongoing maintenance of complex systems is needed for the sustainability and viability of the programs. Efficient and effective educational systems management. Typical Physical Demands and Working Conditions Normal office working conditions including computer usage may require occasional standing, walking, long periods of sitting, climbing stairs, balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
