Together, our employees in North America and Europe work to provide Flexjet aircraft Owners with the finest experience in premium private jet travel.The Talent Acquisition Specialist, Aircraft Maintenance is responsible for the oversight of aircraft maintenance recruitment, selection functions and job placement. This position ensures all aircraft maintenance technicians fit within our company culture and have the necessary skills to perform their duties. This Specialist will need to be a self-starter, dynamic individual comfortable executing on recruitment strategies. This position reports directly to the Director of Talent Acquisition.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESPartner with Global Maintenance leaders on talent acquisition plans based on staffing levels, aircraft delivery schedules, etc.Execute recruitment and sourcing activities, including but not limited to: direct sourcing, job fairs, schools, trade and industry networking, advertisements, internet posting, social media, active resume database searches, employment agencies, employee referrals and outreach to appropriate organizations.Responsible for talent acquisition efforts from initial sourcing, screening and testing to offer acceptance for all maintenance technician positions.Coordinate, plan and attend recruitment events, socials, expos and career fairs on as needed basis.Prescreen all potential candidates (program and company fit, salary expectations, eligibility, etc.) and present successful candidates to Maintenance leaders for review.Schedule panel interviews with appropriate Maintenance leader and/or General Managers, coordinate travel arrangements, conduct interviews, and evaluate applicants.Coordinate technical interview aspects with appropriate General Manager and/or Chief InspectorEnter, track and update all candidate correspondence in our applicant tracking system, ClearCompany, to ensure accurate reporting and policy compliance with regulations and company policies.Establish and maintain recruitment metrics including time to fill, offers accepted, resumes screened, phone screens completed, interviews completed. etc.Assist with recruitment across several company functions as dictated by the Director, Talent AcquisitionOther duties as assigned by management.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE1-2 years of experience recruiting Aircraft Maintenance Technicians in the aviation industryBachelor's degree in Human Resources, business or similar discipline; 3-5 years experience in recruitment preferably with aviation background; a combination of education and experience.Previous experience with executing on recruitment strategiesStrong knowledge of aviation regulations and industry specific aircraft including aircraft recognition, performance, and specifications.Proven track record for sourcing and placing candidates in a technical field.REQUIRED SKILLSStrong interpersonal, (verbal/written, and presentation), organizational, and evaluation skills with the ability to work and build rapport with all levels are necessary to perform job at the expected level.Good working knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably ClearCompany, is a plus.Working knowledge of social media platforms as it relates to recruitment and job promotion.Strongest candidate will possess aviation specific knowledge related to hiring standards and has the ability to communicate with industry specific jargon.Able to work in a team oriented, fast-paced environment, with the ability to self motivate, handle multiple tasks, meet established targets, and work within critical milestones.Strong personal and work ethics and integrity; proven track record of flexibility and professionalism.Position requires up to 20% travelMust possess a passionate attention to detail.Flexjet is an equal-opportunity employer.
