This role is ideal for a technical leader who is passionate about designing and delivering cutting-edge AI solutions, while also engaging directly with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into actionable, scalable architectures. You will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, from discovery and estimation to implementation and deployment, leveraging the latest advancements in AI/ML models and platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Architecture:o Design robust,scalable AI/ML architectures tailored to clientrequirements, leveraging the latest in LLMs, generative AI, computervision, NLP, and MLOps best practices.o Select appropriate models, frameworks, and cloud platforms (AWS,Azure, GCP) for each use case.Hands-On Implementation:o Lead by example in coding, prototyping, and deploying AI modelsand pipelines.o Oversee data engineering, model training, evaluation, andintegration with enterprise systems.Consultative Engagement:o Work closely with clients to understand business challenges, conductworkshops, and translate needs into technical solutions.o Advise clients on AI strategy, roadmap, and best practices foradoption and scaling.Project Estimation & Planning:o Scope and estimate AI projects, including resource planning,timeline, and cost.o Develop delivery plans and manage execution to ensure on-time, on-budget results.Delivery Leadership:o Oversee end-to-end delivery of AI projects, ensuring quality,performance, and client satisfaction.o Mentor and guide cross-functional teams (data scientists, engineers,analysts).Continuous Learning:o Stay up to date with the latest AI research, models (e.g., GPT-4,Gemini, open-source LLMs), and industry trends.o Evaluate and pilot new tools, libraries, and platforms for potentialadoption.Ideal Candidate ProfileBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, DataScience, or related field.7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years inAI/ML solution architecture.Proven hands-on experience with modern AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow,PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.).Deep knowledge of LLMs, generative AI, NLP, computer vision, and MLOps.Strong programming skills in Python (and optionally Java, Scala, or R).Experience with cloud AI/ML services (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCPVertex AI).Demonstrated ability to scope, estimate, and deliver complex AI projects.Excellent consultative and communication skills; able to engage with bothtechnical and business stakeholders.Experience leading and mentoring technical teams.Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.Fluent in English; Spanish or Portuguese a plus.Core CompetenciesExperience in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, pharma, etc.).Experience with AI governance, ethics, and responsible AI practices.Experience with data privacy and security in AI solutions.Benefits: Benefits for this position will likely include the followingUnlimited paid time offHealthcare benefitsDental benefitsVision benefitsDisability insuranceLife insurance benefitsRetirement benefits, including 401(k) and a potential company match.Parental leave for both birthing (up to 14 weeks of paid leave) and non-birthingparents (up to 4 weeks paid leave), as well as adoption leave (up to 8 weeks ofpaid leave), subject to qualificationsChild hospitalization leave (up to 15 paid calendar days per year), subject toqualifications“Be kind to yourself day” on your anniversary (subject to terms and conditions)Graduation and birthing gifts, subject to eligibilityPaid Jury duty (up to 4 weeks a year), subject to eligibilityPaid moving days (up to 2 days a year), subject to eligibilityApproximately 12 paid company holidays a yearAccommodationsIf you require an accommodation, please contact the recruiting teamApplicant PrivacyGlobant will collect and process your information as part of this application.
