Job Description Job Description Join Our Pre-Opening Launch Team! Degree Wellness is an innovative wellness and recovery studio opening soon in Richardson's CityLine district. We provide premium wellness services including Cryotherapy, Infrared Sauna, Red Light Therapy, Cold Plunge, Compression Therapy, Halotherapy, IV Therapy, and more. We're looking for a creative, energetic Social Media & Content Specialist to help tell our story before and after our grand opening. This role is perfect for someone who loves creating engaging content, enjoys being behind (and occasionally in front of) the camera, and understands how to build an active online community. What You’ll Do Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other social media platforms. Film and edit short-form videos, including Reels and TikToks. Capture photos and videos during community events, pop-ups, networking events, and in-studio activities. Assist in planning and maintaining a monthly content calendar. Write engaging captions and help manage social media engagement. Respond to comments and direct messages in a professional and timely manner. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote memberships, special offers, events, and grand opening campaigns. Create educational wellness content that highlights our services and benefits. Monitor social media trends and recommend creative ideas to increase engagement. Help maintain a consistent and professional brand image across all platforms. What We’re Looking For Passion for social media, digital marketing, and content creation. Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or YouTube. Basic video editing skills using tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Express, or similar apps. Strong writing and communication skills. Creative thinker with attention to detail. Interest in health, wellness, fitness, beauty, or lifestyle brands. Comfortable attending local events and occasionally appearing in content.
