HRIS Analyst

RPS have been retained on behalf of US Borax to secure their next HRIS Analyst as part of an exciting carve out from their parent organization Rio Tinto! Are you an HRIS Analyst looking for the opportunity to help select, implement and establish a brand-new global HR system rather than simply maintain an existing platform? U.S. Borax, part of the multi-billion-dollar Rio Tinto group, is undergoing a major transformation as it carves out to become a standalone global organization. As part of this transition, U.S. Borax is establishing a new HRIS environment supporting approximately 1,000 employees globally , creating an exciting opportunity to join at the beginning of the journey and help build its future People technology landscape from the ground up. Benefits: 10% annual bonus hybrid working model, with approximately 2-3 days per week in Burbank as required 20 days PTO a year other great benefits! As the HRIS Analyst, your responsibilities will include: Working across HR, Payroll, Benefits and IT to establish the new standalone HR systems environment Helping evaluate and select the new HRIS platform Supporting implementation through configuration, UAT, training, go-live and hypercare Managing HRIS and benefits technology vendors Maintaining system configuration, functionality and data integrity Supporting integrations, upgrades and testing cycles Troubleshooting system and data issues Producing HR reports, dashboards and analysis Supporting global process standardization and continuous improvement Developing user guides and providing system training The successful HRIS Analyst will have the following experience & qualifications: 3+ years of HRIS, HR Operations or HR systems experience Experience with Workday, SAP SuccessFactors or another major HRIS platform Exposure to an HRIS implementation, migration, upgrade or transformation Experience with system configuration, UAT and data management Understanding of employee lifecycle processes and payroll interfaces Strong Excel, reporting and analytical skills Experience working across HR, Payroll, Benefits and IT Global, multi-site, benefits systems or HR technology vendor experience would be advantageous HRIS certifications such as Workday Pro, SAP SuccessFactors or HRIP are advantageous but not essential.
