Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and maintain a positive and trusting rapport with patients by fostering therapeutic relationships that encourage open communication.

• Utilize clinical evaluation skills to diagnose and treat mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more.
\n
• Create, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs, circumstances, and goals.
\n
• Conduct regular counseling sessions with patients to provide support, guidance, and adjustments to treatment plans as required.
\n
• Perform ongoing assessments of patient progress, utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure effective and measurable outcomes.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on various therapeutic modalities that resonate with patient needs.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and supportive counseling to patients experiencing emotional distress, ensuring immediate care and referrals to additional resources as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at MindShift Behavioral Health, you will work primarily with diverse patient populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various socio-economic backgrounds. Our clients often face a range of mental health challenges, and your role will be crucial in helping them access appropriate services and achieve their mental health goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited program.

• A valid LCSW license in the state of Oregon is essential.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience providing mental health counseling in an outpatient setting.

• Strong proficiency in electronic medical records and other digital communication tools to manage patient information effectively.

• Ability to adapt quickly within a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with professionalism and compassion.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding in interactions with patients and team members.

• Fluency in written and spoken English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, experience with evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Motivational Interviewing (MI) will be valuable. Compensation and Benefits\n
