About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Medical Funding Coordinator to support individuals and families through a structured funding and approval process. This role acts as a central point of contact, ensuring a smooth experience by coordinating with multiple stakeholders and managing required documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with families, providers, and third-party organizations to resolve issues and move applications forward
Ensure all documentation meets required guidelines and internal standards
Prepare and send required materials ahead of scheduled appointments
Confirm appointments are completed and follow up on next steps
Provide guidance to families on navigating processes and clarifying requirements
Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, messaging, and other communication channels
Maintain accurate records of interactions, including inquiries, concerns, and resolutions
Utilize internal systems and standard office tools to track progress and updates
Collaborate with cross-functional team members to support overall goals
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in medical funding, approvals, or coordination roles
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable learning and working within new systems and tools
Proven track record of improving processes or workflows
