Customer Service Representative

: SAP-R3 or equivalent ERP system

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative for a contract/temporary opportunity in Auburn Hills, MI. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional with hands-on order entry experience and a strong ability to manage customer accounts from order placement through final delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full customer order lifecycle, including order entry, returns, credits, debits, invoicing, and delivery follow-up.
- Use SAP or a similar ERP system to process orders accurately and maintain account information.
- Serve as the primary customer liaison for administrative and technical inquiries, order updates, and issue resolution.
- Review daily open order reports, monitor account activity, and communicate key updates to internal teams.
- Investigate customer disputes, return requests, and service concerns, driving timely resolution within authorized limits.
- Partner with commercial and account teams to anticipate customer needs and support a positive customer experience.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage end-to-end order management activities for assigned customer accounts.
- Process order entry, returns, credits, debits, invoicing, and related customer transactions.
- Resolve customer inquiries, disputes, complaints, and return requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support open orders, account updates, and customer satisfaction.

- 3-5 years of relevant customer service, order management, or account support experience.
- Previous hands-on order entry experience is required.
- Experience using SAP-R3 or an equivalent ERP system is highly preferred.
- High School Diploma required.
- Strong communication, follow-up, and customer engagement skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate order processing.
- Flexible, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach to customer support.

Preferred Qualifications

- College degree preferred.
- Prior experience supporting dedicated customer accounts in a technical, manufacturing, science, chemical, biotech, or related business environment.
- Experience reviewing open order reports and partnering with sales, commercial, or account management teams.
