Technical Analytics Business Analyst

Fully remote

3-month contract with possible extension

Analytics and Website Monitoring

Video. 2 rounds. A blend of technical and business.

We are building a series of dashboards that present monitoring data for our member websites to display activity, performance and errors in a manner that will allow for more rapid problem diagnosis, and understanding of usage trends, and the effects of software releases

Will have knowledge of software development, software performance tuning, software architecture and web monitoring standards and the tools used to surface information about website performance.

An understanding of website performance metrics (3-5 years), query development (3+ years), and software development processes (5+ years)

Knowledge of the monitoring tools that we are using (Grafana, New Relic, Dynatrace, Data Dog, Splunk)

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

5+ years of experience working in software development ideally on analytics projects

Understanding of website performance metrics

Understanding of software architecture concepts

Demonstrated success in leveraging technology to meet business objectives.

Understanding of Agile software development lifecycle and driving incremental changes

Knowledge of how to write/modify queries in SQL or similar query systems

Strong skills in Microsoft Excel

Adaptability to ramp up new skills as needed to meet the needs of the project

Working knowledge of how business and IT interact and operate together as Product Team.

Ability to establish effective working relationships with business executives and key business partners to drive a change

Ability to translate and communicate technology concepts to non-technical employees

Experienced in the delivery of technology solutions and understanding business requirements on fast paced projects

3+ years of experience with various monitoring concepts/tools, including Synthetic, Real User Monitoring using tools such as Grafana, New Relic, Data Dog, Dynatrace, Splunk, etc

Understanding of best-in-class website operations

Knowledge of the Healthcare, Insurance or Financial Services industry

Ability to demonstrate modernizing operations that resulted in reducing incidents and automating manual tasks through modern reliability engineering

Results oriented with a high level of emotional intelligence, strong communication and interpersonal skills, outstanding collaboration, strong influence and consensus building

Demonstrated strategic thinking abilities and an enterprise-wide perspective
