The successful candidate will oversee a well established multidisciplinary group of engineers, designers and technicians. This individual reports to the Engineering Director and will be responsible for the relationship with TVA. The position requires a strong technical background in substation engineering along with a proven managerial track record.Candidate will be responsible for P&L of client project work, communication, process creation, team management, and is ultimately responsible for ensuring the successful execution of all project work.The role will be a hybrid allowable role based out of the Chattanooga, TN or Knoxville, TN office.Requirements:PMP certification is required; a PE license is preferred.4-year ABET-accredited engineering degree preferred.Ability to identify, analyze, and solve difficult technical and management problems related to complex engineering projects.Possess aptitude for engineering and design, as well as proposal preparation, estimating, accounting, and scheduling.Strong organizational and process workflow management skills. Adept at modifying and adapting processes and workflows to accomplish team goals efficiently.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and work effectively in a team environment – both internally and externally.Strong working knowledge of computers and software such as AutoCAD, Vault, and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
