Requirements / Qualifications

Education and Experience: Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school including or supplemented by courses in typing and office practices and one year of general clerical experience involving public contact. Must pass a clerical proficiency test. Must also pass a Bilingual test. A valid first aid and CPR certificate issued by an authorized agency is required within thirty (30) days of being hired.

Comments and Other Information

Prior to final hiring and placement, the candidate must pass a Pre-Placement Physical Examination paid for by the Newhall School District. The examination may also include a urinalysis for drug screening. The candidate must also receive fingerprint clearance from the California Department of Justice.
