Specimen Processor II - Per Diem

Labcorp seeks a Specimen Processor II for per diem work in New York on a flexible, as-needed schedule. The role involves preparing laboratory specimens, managing patient data, and ensuring accurate sample processing in a high-volume diagnostic environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
- Perform data entry of patient information with accuracy and timeliness
- Identify, label, and pack specimens for shipment to testing facilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve specimen and customer issues
- Perform specimen splitting, freezing, and other specialized processing as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year experience in laboratory, accessioning, production, or warehouse
- Comfortable handling biological specimens
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Experience with MS Office
- Ability to work accurately in fast-paced team environment
Compensation: $18.10 - $28.00 per hour plus 2nd shift differential
