Telecommunications Specialist

This position supports our customer’s nationwide TSCM program with strategic and operational support across various locations, providing essential contributions to safeguarding classified and sensitive information from foreign and domestic threats. This initiative offers an opportunity to contribute to national security through cutting-edge technical and security-focused roles.The Telecommunications Specialist will apply analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills while working with technical, functional, and management personnel. The ideal candidate will have experience with COMSEC Type 1 Keys and associated equipment, as well as hands-on knowledge of STE installation, repair, upgrades, troubleshooting, and destruction of Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI). Experience with NSA-approved Key Management Systems (KMS) and related equipment is required.Must be a U.S. Citizen.Must have an active Top Secret/DOE Q clearance with SCI eligibility.Contingent upon award of Contract.Responsibilities:Manage, administer, maintain, and secure telecommunications equipment supporting COMSEC operationsInstall, troubleshoot, upgrade, and repair secure telecommunications devices, including STEs and associated CCIInterface and integrate secure telecommunications equipment with local classified and unclassified network operationsDetect, diagnose, report, and resolve issues with hardware and software supporting secure communicationsAssist with COMSEC audits, inspections, inventories, and training as requiredEnsure operations and equipment comply with national COMSEC policies and proceduresQualifications:Minimum of four (4) years of specialized experience with Type 1 Key management and secure telecommunications/COMSEC equipment, or relevant Federal Government experience with applicable certificationsHands-on experience with NSA-approved Key Management Systems (KMS)Knowledge of secure telecommunications installation, troubleshooting, repair, and upgradesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsBachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline preferred but not requiredAbout MayvinMayvin is more than a workplace—it’s a community built on innovation, inclusion, and impact.
