Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our Peoria, Illinois Team focusing on providing high quality Occupational Health patient care. This position is Monday-Friday, no call! Responsibilities: * Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses * Provide all necessary treatments for acute injuries to include prescribing medication and necessary wound care. * Order and review appropriate imaging * Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patient. * Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities * Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care Qualifications: * Completion of a reputable nurse practitioner program * Previous experience in nursing or other medical field * Ability to build rapport with patients * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong leadership qualities Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
