Med Care Manager

Role Overview The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents accurately and safely, following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration. They document all actions in MAR/TAR in real-time, monitor residents during and after medication passes, and observe for any health changes or symptoms requiring attention. Additionally, they report concerns promptly, complete narcotic counts, maintain clean medication carts, and adhere to infection control and safety standards. The role is critical in preventing medication errors, ensuring resident safety, and complying with regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma/GED; age 18+ Medication Administration certification CPR and First Aid certification Strong documentation and communication skills Preferred experience in senior care Key Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments per physician orders Follow safety and infection control protocols Accurately document medication administration and resident observations Monitor residents’ health and report concerns promptly Maintain medication carts and ensure regulatory compliance #J-18808-Ljbffr Azza HealthCare Agency
