As a Security Officer - Reception Desk in West Chester, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping to monitor access, support security-related procedures, and provide outstanding customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location within a financial services environment.
• Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and following established entry and notification procedures.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, employees, visitors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Answer phones, assist with directions and general inquiries, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious activity through proper channels.
• Support front desk operations by observing lobby activity, helping to deter unauthorized access, and documenting daily events, incidents, and/or visitor interactions in accordance with site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
