Admissions Counselor

Manage a recruitment territory (e.g. Columbus). Execute territory specific recruitment activities and events in collaboration with partner offices. Develop and maintain positive relationships with high schools, community based organizations, and community colleges. Travel to high schools, community colleges, and college fairs to represent The Ohio State University. Make recruitment calls to prospective students. Monitor a territory specific budget. Analyze prospective student data. Perform data validation and manage electronic workflows. Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Demonstrated ability to collaborate. Program planning and implementation. Familiarity with office desktop technology. Early morning, evening, and weekend hours required. Work experience at a college/university, admissions preferred. Knowledge of data interpretation. Knowledge of CRM and other recruitment technology platforms. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Conflict resolution skills.
