Deductions Specialist

Deductions Specialist will be responsible for preparing, compiling, researching, and processing deductions submitted by vendors or internal teams. Areas of responsibility: Prepare and enter all vendor deductions to ensure timely and accurate processing according to identified procedures. Analyze and organize all supporting documentation to support these deductions. Communicates with various internal departments to resolve disputes, payments, chargebacks and closing process gaps and documentation requirements. Import / download transactions from other systems into accounting system. Performs other job duties as required. Qualifications/Skills: Associates degree and/or at least three years of experience in a Finance or Accounting based role Hands-on experience with high volume data entry with a high attention to detail Has the ability to work with a sense of urgency A combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform duties Handles confidential information in a professional manner An understanding of research and reconciliation functions Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word Team-oriented, well organized Maintain good working relationships with vendors and co-workers Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing. #J-18808-Ljbffr Chex Finer Foods
