Our company provides consulting and project management services offering creative, cutting edge solutions to complex environmental problems. Principal clients range from regional to large multi-national mining, energy and petro-chemical companies. We provide our private sector client base with time and mission-critical environmental permitting, geochemical and hydrogeologic characterization and modeling, environmental impact analysis and litigation support.

The Operations Manager is part of the Administrative team and manages the daily operations of the business, maintaining smooth workflow in the office. Primary responsibilities include support to the President and Vice-President, Human Resource management, and facilitating general accounting functions. The Operations Manager works alongside the technical team to serve our clients. This role requires professionalism, exceptional communication, organization, and a desire to provide excellent service to colleagues and clients alike.

Requirements

•                    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

•                    Office suite literate – must have intermediate Excel skills

•                    Excellent spelling and writing skills; professional email composition

•                    General Accounting/Math proficiency

•                    Communication skills

•                    Ability to exercise good judgement with sensitive information and situations.

•                    Excellent attention to detail

•                    Well-organized in all aspects of work

•                    Experience with invoicing preferred

•                    Interested in learning new software/cloud platforms

•                    Positive, can-do, go-getter attitude

•                    Logical and analytical thinking

•                    Process-oriented; continuous improvement mindset

•                    Largely self-managed and driven to accomplish tasks

•                    Minimum 2 years related experience
