About the Role
The Company is in search of a Consumer Loan Operations Manager to fill a hands-on leadership role with a focus on the day-to-day administration, regulatory execution, and development of consumer lending operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing the consumer lending administration team, overseeing quality control and compliance, and building scalable processes for growth. This role also involves supporting commercial lending compliance, serving as the principal operational subject-matter resource for lending compliance, and ensuring the Bank's broader Compliance Management System is effectively supported. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in mortgage operations, consumer loan administration, lending compliance, or a related banking function, with a strong knowledge of federal and state lending laws and regulations. Key responsibilities for the Consumer Loan Operations Manager at the company include leading the Bank's consumer lending activities, coordinating workflow with various internal and external partners, and monitoring production, service levels, and operational risk. The role requires the ability to balance leadership with hands-on production and problem-solving, as well as excellent judgment, attention to detail, and communication skills. The candidate should be adept at interpreting regulations and translating them into practical operating guidance, and have experience with lending systems, particularly with Finastra LaserPro, DCI iCore, or similar systems. Team leadership, performance management, and succession planning are also critical aspects of the position, along with the ability to provide training and support to ensure the team's technical expertise and professional growth.
