Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00)
Description: ICU Nights 1st time travel ok 1+ years experience Option of 36 or 48hrs Pending NM License accepted! Ratios 1:2 Weekends required Float: May be floated to MS, Stepdown, PCU, ER, CVICU. Capped at 4 patients maximum while floating 50 mile local radius, locals not accepted
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous Charge Experience: 2 Years of Experience
- Patient Ratio Experience: 2
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS*, NIHSS
- Skills: Arterial line management, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Care of Ventilated Patient, Central line care/management, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Continuous IV sedation, CVA/Acute Stroke management, External ventricular drain (EVD)*, GI surgery, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, ICP monitoring*, Infection Prevention, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Neuro Intensive Care Unit*, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Post Neurosurgery management*, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Starting and maintaining IVs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Surgical Intensive Care Unit*, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Ventilator Management
