QA Engineer

Title: QA Engineer

Location: Austin, Texas

Compensation: $48 / HR

Technical Requirements:

• 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience, primarily focused on manual testing, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
• Strong experience in testing multiple phases, including smoke, functional, integration, regression, and UAT.
• Solid hands-on experience with SQL for data querying, analysis, and validation.
• Experience to data warehouse, ETL or financial reporting validation projects.
• Experience testing data migration and tool migration processes.
• Experience testing Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) platforms such as CaptivateIQ, Xactly, Varicent, SPIFF.
• Strong understanding of c ommission calculations, compensation plans, earnings validation, and payout verification processes
• Understanding of accounting concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications and reporting platforms.

• AI capabilities with data validation.

• Experience with test automation such as Selenium or similar tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Identify, analyze, and document defects, perform root cause analysis, and validate resolutions.

• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and maintain clear communication across cross-functional teams.

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Support data validation activities and ensure data integrity across applications and reporting systems.

• Contribute to test planning, test execution, and overall quality assurance best practices.
