Position: QA Automation Engineer - On-Site Austin, TX 4 Days per week Location: Austin, TX Duration: 12 Months Client: Department of Information Resources Visa Restrictions: None Sub Vending: Yes Pay Rate: $50 - $53/Hr on C2C Bill Rate: $65

Candidate must reside within 25 miles of job location. Candidates must be local to Austin. Please do not submit any candidate that is not currently residing within a 25 mile radius from Austin, TX. Position does require 4 days per week on-site work at TX DOT's office in Austin. Sub-vending is allowed. Any candidate submitted above $65/hr on C2C all in will be rejected.

8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Additional Skills

8 Manual testing experience (e.g., System Testing, System Integration Testing, UAT, etc. 8 Proficient in writing test plans, test cases, and other testing-related documentation 8 Writing automated test scripts for Selenium using Java or similar automated testing tools 8 Using Jira, AzureDevOps or other defect management tools (e.g., Octane) 8- Xray, or other test management tools (e.g., Zephyr, TestRail)

Job Description

TxDOT work to be accomplished - QA automation engineers design automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically. This includes determining the priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios. Designing documentation for automated processes.
