Worker's Compensation Attorney

About the Role We are a national defense firm seeking a licensed attorney in Tennessee with 3–10 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation defense to join our Workers’ Compensation Practice Group. The role focuses on defending employers, carriers, and other clients against workers’ compensation claims through all stages of the legal process. Responsibilities Review and prepare summaries of medical records to advocate for clients. Draft and file motions and participate in hearings. Prepare clients for depositions and attend depositions as needed. Draft initial, interim, pre‑trial, trial, and appellate reports and filings. Respond to discovery requests and draft discovery‑related motions. Attend and represent clients in court appearances. Take and defend depositions of fact and expert witnesses. Qualifications Admitted to practice in the state of Tennessee. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for complex legal issues. Excellent research, written, and oral communication abilities. Experience drafting and responding to discovery‑related motions. Regular court appearance and deposition experience. Ability to draft summary judgment motions.
