Project Executive Team Lead

Position Summary KW Landscape Architects (KW) is seeking a Project Executive Team Lead to provide leadership and oversight for a team of three or more employees while guiding the successful delivery of assigned project goals. This position provides strategic direction, mentorship, and support to Project Executives, helping teams navigate complex project challenges, strengthen client relationships, and deliver high-quality landscape architecture solutions. The Project Executive Team Lead plays a key role in developing people, fostering collaboration, and advancing project and team performance in alignment with KW’s standards and goals. Efficiently plan, staff, and coordinate project(s) from start to finish Anticipate project conflicts and work to resolve Monitor project deliverables to ensure on-time delivery by team members Monitor project budgets and billing milestones, minimizing out of scope work or overruns Meet with clients to discuss project status, concerns, and future work Possess a thorough understanding of the monthly billing process Generate weekly work plans for staff Review work of Tier 1 staff and provide QA/QC for their tasks Approve team member time sheets Write proposals Assist with project maintenance and scheduling in Ajera Assist with recruiting and interview potential candidates Conduct employee performance reviews Lead weekly hotlist meetings Source new projects from clients/consultants Cultivate client relationships through business development efforts Develop ideas and help execute firm-wide growth strategies Mentor and train Tier 1 staff Performs other duties as assigned Position Summary KW Landscape Architects (KW) is seeking a Project Executive Team Lead to provide leadership and oversight for a team of three or more employees while guiding the successful delivery of assigned project goals. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Efficiently plan, staff, and coordinate project(s) from start to finish Anticipate project conflicts and work to resolve Monitor project deliverables to ensure on-time delivery by team members Monitor project budgets and billing milestones, minimizing out of scope work or overruns Meet with clients to discuss project status, concerns, and future work Possess a thorough understanding of the monthly billing process Generate weekly work plans for staff Review work of Tier 1 staff and provide QA/QC for their tasks Approve team member time sheets Redline drawings Write proposals Assist with project maintenance and scheduling in Ajera Assist with recruiting and interview potential candidates Conduct employee performance reviews Lead weekly hotlist meetings Source new projects from clients/consultants Cultivate client relationships through business development efforts Develop ideas and help execute firm-wide growth strategies Mentor and train Tier 1 staff Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (knowledge, Skills, And Abilities) Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited college 10+ years of related experience, preferably in the Master Planned Community sector Ability to learn and use company-preferred software used for drawing, project planning, office communications, etc. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and professional behavior in/out of the office Ability to critically analyze situations, solve problems, and formulate ideas Actively participate in AEC organizations outside of the office Strong ability to communicate effectively with teammates, leaders, clients, vendors, and contractors Ability to network and promote the company Possess a positive attitude Ability to take ownership of projects and responsibility for other team members Collaborative and supportive team member Ability to create excellent notes Proactively provide project status updates to senior staff prior to completion Ability to delegate tasks to others About Kw Landscape Architects At KW, our culture is what makes us unique.
