Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse - Augusta, GA. This role involves providing critical care in a fast-paced emergency department with a 30-bed capacity. The position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care during night shifts, ensuring prompt response and adherence to facility protocols.

Job Details:

• Location: Augusta, GA
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• Qualifications: Valid certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS; candidates must be motivated, easy-going, friendly team players with experience working in an emergency room setting; familiarity with NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) assessment is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certifications; experience in IV starts, sepsis management, trauma, cardiac, and stroke procedures.
• Type of staff: Charge RNs, Paramedics, PCTs, and NEs
• Typical Procedures Performed: IV initiation, sepsis management, trauma, cardiac, and stroke care
• Personality Fit: Motivated, easy-going, friendly personality, team player
• Additional Information: The unit utilizes Pyxis medication dispensing, GE monitors, Zoll defibrillators, Welch Allyn and Dynamap vital signs machines. The hospital supports self-scheduling, requiring four weekend shifts per month, two of which must be consecutive.
