Reliability Specialist

We need someone who enjoys taking the initiative to produce timely and accurate results! The successful candidate will apply and implement predictive technologies for the successful execution of reliability service contracts.Reliability Specialist Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Providing analysis and concise reports on recommendations for repairs and urgency for problems identifiedDeveloping and maintain working knowledge of routine and advanced data acquisition techniques, such as knowledge in spectral, time waveform, and Peakvue analysisProviding setup on vibration routes for routine monitoring on diverse plant equipment and provide database maintenance on a regular and consistent basisDeveloping and maintain advanced knowledge and experience in balancing rotating equipment and laser alignment on complex machine trainsPlanning, scheduling and managing travel, appointments, and activities independentlyResponding to customer requests in a timely and professional mannerMaking difficult decisions independently in ambiguous situationsProviding training to reliability techniciansTraveling to customer sites throughout Novaspect's territory, Novaspect branch offices, and other locations as requiredPerform other duties as requiredReliability Specialist Education and/or Experience:High school diploma requiredExperience with multiple predictive technologies preferredExperience with Asset Management/Reliability programs and associated software & service programs preferredCAT II Vibration Analysis Certification or equivalent certifications requiredReliability Specialist Additional Requirements:Knowledge of machinery fundamentals, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, compressors, etc.Working knowledge in Microsoft SuiteDetailed knowledge of general mechanical fundamentals, such as fits and tolerancesStrong understanding of electro-mechanical fundamentalsExcellent verbal communication skillsExceptional team player with a solution focusAbility to comply with customer site safety regulationsAvailability to work evenings, weekends, and extended hoursReliability Specialist Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50lbsAbility of hands to grasp and manipulate small objects/toolsAbility to work with hand toolsAbility to work at heightsAbility to stoop, crawl and crouch while working on equipment on hands and kneesAbility to work in confined spacesAbility to work on your feet for 8 hours per dayAbility to work in a loud industrial environmentComfortable working around industrial equipment with exposed moving partsAbility to climb stairs with up to 20lbsAbility to climb a 20ft+ ladder with equipmentAbility to drive on average 3-4 hours at a timeAbility to drive 8 hours as needed in a day – although not typicalAbility to work in high and cold temperature environments for extended hoursAbility to have a face free from hair on occasions when needing to wear a respiratorAbility to work on a computer for an extended periodReliability Specialist Pay:Salary Range: $70,000-$105,000Bonus potential: 5%Reliability Specialist Benefits:Recognized with a Top Employee Benefit Plan Award, below you will find our outstanding total rewards package when you join our team including:Generous paid time off; starting at 15 vacation days, 10 holidays, and 10 days of Paid Sick & Safety Time (PSST)401K with 6% company matchEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Excellent health & wellness benefitsStudent debt & tuition reimbursementReferral bonusWho We Are:Novaspect, Inc., is an employee-owned company that engineers, sells, and services industrial process controls.
