Territory: Virginia, Maryland & Southern Delaware
Ideal Candidate Located in/around Richmond, VA
Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 + 40% Bonus
Travel: Approximately 50% overnight travel (field-based position)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced District Sales Manager to drive territory growth by developing new business, expanding key customer relationships, and increasing market share throughout Virginia, Maryland, and Southern Delaware.

This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional with experience in wholesale distribution, construction products, or the residential/commercial design-build industry who enjoys building relationships, solving technical challenges, and spending time in the field with customers.

Candidates should ideally live in Central Virginia to effectively support the assigned territory.

What You'll Do

• Develop new business opportunities within your assigned territory.
• Manage and grow existing key customer relationships.
• Meet or exceed territory sales and profitability goals.
• Identify, qualify, and close new sales opportunities.
• Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and educational seminars.
• Build relationships with contractors, distributors, architects, and other industry partners.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately manage opportunities within the CRM system.
• Submit timely call reports, travel plans, account updates, and expense reports.
• Support company initiatives while helping grow market presence throughout the territory.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of outside sales experience in one or more of the following:
  • Building materials
  • Construction products
  • Wholesale distribution
  • Residential or commercial design/build
  • Technical sales
• Experience developing new business and managing existing accounts.
• Comfortable selling technical products and providing application support.
• Strong relationship-building and presentation skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
