Construction Project Manager

Position: Construction Project Manager (Full Time, Experienced) – Location: Melville, NY. What You’ll Do We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee all phases of construction projects, from initial planning and budgeting to final delivery. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Position Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of assigned construction projects. Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans in collaboration with architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Monitor progress and performance, identifying and resolving issues to minimize delays and cost overruns. Lead site meetings and maintain clear communication among clients, contractors, vendors, and team members. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, and progress reports. Manage procurement of materials, subcontractor agreements, and vendor relationships. Conduct project closeout activities, including final inspections and client handover. Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred but not required). 5+ years of experience managing commercial and/or residential construction projects. Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and cost control. Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar). Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
