Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Execute a wide range of ultrasound examinations, which include abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining each procedure with empathy and care
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the highest quality of diagnostic imagery
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment while promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Thoroughly document procedures and manage patient records within our electronic medical system
• Keep up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• A CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
