C&I Portfolio Manager

Our client are a Regional Bank who are looking for 2 Portfolio Manager's during a period of growth. Summary/Objectives The Commercial Portfolio Manager III supports the commercial loan and deposit portfolio of one or more Relationship Managers providing quality underwriting, sound portfolio management and superior client service. Essential Functions Analyzes financial information to evaluate credit worthiness of new and renewal loan requests and ongoing portfolio management activities Conducts industry research supporting existing and prospective customers Compiles commercial loan packages including credit memos, financial analysis of borrowers/guarantors, risk grading and recommendations Completes additional credit analysis using in-depth tools beyond traditional spreads and global cash flow (e.g. CRE analysis) Guides loan requests through the Credit Approval Process ensuring structure meets client and operational objectives Ensures large commercial loan relationships comply with State and Federal regulations and internal policies Monitors portfolios through covenant testing, annual servicing reviews and exception clearing Properly grades and recommends adjustments to risk grades as circumstances evolve Assists Relationship Managers in credit presentations to Credit Administration and committees Ensures all required documentation is in file; works to clear documentation or compliance deficiencies Builds positive relationships with internal partners and external stakeholders including attorneys and appraisers Adheres to BSA, AML, CIP and OFAC regulatory requirements Strong financial analysis and credit underwriting skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure Qualifications Education: Four-year degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field Experience: Minimum 8 years in credit analysis or commercial banking; at least 5 years in portfolio management and/or underwriting Knowledge: Accounting and lending principles; Federal and State lending regulations; loan structuring and documentation #J-18808-Ljbffr Broadgate
