What You Will Do The successful candidate will be willing and able to: Cover Supervisor during absence (Deposit money, weekly schedule, lunch schedule, oversee front desk operations). Prepare weekly reports. Assist Supervisor/Manager with tasks/projects. Handles patient complains. Attend Supervisor/Lead trainings, meetings. Provide training to employees as needed. Manage incoming calls and voicemails; resolve inquiries or route to appropriate staff. Check in patients and complete full registration, including scanning required documents into Athena. Enter and maintain accurate patient data; perform general clerical tasks. Prepare charts to ensure complete registration, updated demographics, insurance, and forms. Address registration questions and verify insurance eligibility; coordinate with Eligibility Workers or verify through external systems as needed. Schedule and manage patient appointments ????? provider schedules. Deliver excellent customer service aligned with organizational values. Complete assigned tasks in inboxes and workflow dashboards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk and waiting area. Handle mail and email correspondence; distribute appropriately. Collect and reconcile patient payments, including cash handling. Submit required reports and schedules to leadership. Support patient enrollment in special programs (e.g., sliding fee, public health programs). Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and organizational policies. Report and document incidents or unusual occurrences promptly. Performs other duties as assigned. Ancillary & Voluntary Benefits – Employer‑paid life insurance, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Flexible Spending Accounts (Health Care & Dependent Care), and optional supplemental benefits. Eligibility Benefits are available to employees working 30+ hours per week, effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment. Compensation Disclosure $28.00 - $36.50. The compensation range listed reflects Elica’s good‑faith estimate of the anticipated hiring range for this position in accordance with California pay transparency requirements. Final compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, skills, and qualification. Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent. Current BLS/CPR Certification required. Knowledge of office equipment including computer, copier, multi‑line telephone. Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills. Ability to maintain records and files. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to exert physical effort maintaining and distributing files. Knowledge of basic medical clinic care and procedures. Additional Requirements Must have a current and valid California driver’s license and the ability to provide proof of personal auto insurance on the vehicle driven during working hours.
