Valley Beverage, a family-owned leader in premium beverage distribution for over 50 years, is seeking a motivated Merchandiser to join our team in the Dover Foxcroft area. As a trusted partner to both national and local brands, Valley Beverage offers a diverse portfolio including beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages. Merchandisers play a key role in ensuring our products are attractively presented and readily available in retail locations, supporting our commitment to exceptional service and quality. Responsibilities
- Restock shelves and arrange product displays to maximize visibility and appeal.
- Implement merchandising strategies to drive customer engagement and sales.
- Ensure accurate placement of products, point-of-sale materials, and pricing.
- Rotate products and inspect code dates to maintain freshness and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized back stock area.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with retail store managers and staff, serving as a knowledgeable resource for product information.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in sales or retail merchandising is beneficial, especially in the beverage industry.
- Interest in the beverage industry and familiarity with different beverage styles and brands.
- Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy cases as needed.
