Physician Assistant- Colorectal Surgery

Location: Santa Monica, CA, USA. Employment is fully on‑site. Working hours are Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm. Compensation ranges from $83.46 to $112.31 per hour. Employment type is indefinite. Primary Duties and Responsibilities The Physician Assistant (PA) functions in an interdependent role under a delegation agreement, providing comprehensive, patient‑centered care across the continuum of treatment. Responsibilities include performing health histories, physical examinations, developing and implementing treatment plans, coordinating care, providing patient and family education, participating in interdisciplinary rounds, ensuring continuity of care through appropriate referrals and documentation, and other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications BLS Certification from AHA or ARC-required National Board Certification-required Master's Degree as a Physician Assistant-required NPI, DEA, PECOS, and CURES enrollment Previous Physician Assistant experience required; colorectal surgery or other relevant surgical specialty experience preferred Ability to utilize Excel, Word and other software programs-required Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel-required Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction-required Ability to set priorities-required Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed and grammatically correct correspondence-required Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner-required As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.
