Senior Actuarial Analyst

The employee would assist in reserving all lines of business, financial reporting, and special projects. Special projects include pattern reviews, line of business studies, retrocession submissions, and opportunities to improve processes. Frequent collaboration with underwriting, claims, legal, and finance departments would occur. Responsibilities Coordinate and maintain detail loss development triangles for all lines of business Develop and monitor multiple loss development factors Become expert on one or more lines of business for reserving and annual assumption review Analyze loss characteristics Manage complex problems and develop innovative approaches without supervision Build and refurbish tools and models to streamline business processes and workflows Direct and complete large projects, utilizing resources from multiple disciplines Operate as an effective team member by supporting projects that support the broader actuarial team Support the centralized regulatory services group as needed for product initiatives and filings Preparing financial statements and reports Serve as liaison for groupwide strategy initiatives Assist in annual planning and budget process Help develop AI capabilities to improve process efficiency and sophistication Maintaining SOX control documentation Qualifications 10 years of Actuarial experience At least 5 Actuarial exams preferable Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem‑solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in MS Office products Programming knowledge (VBA, SQL, or others) strongly preferable Ability to work efficiently independently and in a group setting Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet deadlines This role is to be located in the Morristown, NJ office location. #LI-LH1 #LI-HYBRID For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible. $133,752 - $200,000/year Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long‑term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
