Shift: 3x12 D/N rotation 0700-1900/1900-0700
Contract Length: 13 weeks with possible extension
Weekend: Everyother weekend
Floating: Required
Locals Accepted: No, must be more than 75 mile radius
First time travelers: Accepted with experience in patient ratio requirement.
Patient Ratio Experience Required: 1:6
Charge experience: Required
Charting: EPIC experience is required
Certs Required: BLS/NIHSS - Please include valid NIHSS in submittal
Specifics: This is a high volumn unit. Need to be able to take a 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio for MedSurg

Patient Diagnoses: Complex care unit for Medicine, ortho overflow and complex long term patients

Skills: MS/Tele, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Pacemakers/Temporary/Permanent, Feeding tube care and management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin Protocols, Ortho trauma, Total Joint Replacements, Surgical drains, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Tracheostomy Management, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac
