This position offers an exceptional weekday schedule, low daily patient volume, generous appointment times, and the opportunity to provide quality-focused preventive dental care as part of an established collaborative team. POSITION OVERVIEW The Dental Hygienist will provide preventive dental care and patient education while collaborating with Dentists and fellow Dental Hygienists on treatment planning and ongoing patient care. The practice emphasizes quality and relationship-based care rather than high patient volume. Hygienists typically see only 67 patients per day, with extended appointment times designed to support comprehensive care and patient education. SCHEDULE & WORK-LIFE BALANCE MondayFriday 8:00 AM5:00 PM No Evenings No Weekends No On-Call Responsibilities Last Patient Scheduled at 4:00 PM Dedicated Time to Complete Documentation Before the End of the Day Full-Time Preferred Part-Time Candidates Welcome PATIENT SCHEDULE Approximately 67 Patients per Day New Patient Appointments: 90120 Minutes Returning Patient Appointments: 60 Minutes Quality-Focused Appointment Times Preventive Dental Care Patient Education Relationship-Based Care Collaborative Treatment Planning CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES Provide preventive dental hygiene services Educate patients regarding oral health and preventive care Support individualized treatment planning Collaborate with Dentists and other Dental Hygienists Maintain accurate clinical documentation Support continuity of patient care Develop positive, professional relationships with patients Contribute to a supportive and team-oriented clinical environment ESTABLISHED CLINICAL TEAM You'll join an established outpatient dental team consisting of 2 Dentists and 3 Dental Hygienists. The practice values teamwork, collaboration, quality patient care, and strong relationships with patients. EMR The practice utilizes eClinicalWorks for electronic clinical documentation.
