Associate Director, Network Systems

Position Title Associate Director, Network Systems Job Category Administrative Staff Salary Range $86,124-$88,000 Position Type Full Time Department Information Systems - Administration Job Summary Responsible for effective provisioning, installation and configuration, operation, and maintenance of system hardware and software and related infrastructure. Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation. Reports to the Director, Network and User Services. Supervises Systems Administrators, Automation Developers, Solution Center and Network Telecommunications staff. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required. Technical certification (CISSP, Security+) strongly preferred. Experience: Minimum six (6) years in network and system administration, including technologies such as Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Server Virtualization, and Active Directory. Skills: Expertise in Microsoft, VMware, and Linux operating systems. Demonstrated experience maintaining a hybrid cloud infrastructure. Strong knowledge of networking infrastructure with background managing Cisco switching and wireless hardware; strongly preferred. Experience with automation tools and scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to plan and manage complex technical implementations. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and climb small ladders to maintain equipment as required.
